I am trying to replace 4388152 ( just the water filler in the door ) that I purchased from you . I tried the suggestion of pulling the tube behind the old one and it did not work. The new tube is about a foot short of exiting the hole at the bottom of the door. I am trying to find the easiest way to complete this . Please advise.

Answer Andy, the tube assembly is a total length of approximately 55 inches, and is usually longer than you need. I would have to think your tubing is "Bunching up" inside the door, if you're a foot short. Normally you'd attach a strong string or wire to the end of the tube , at the bottom of the door and extract the tube from the dispenser housing. Attach the string to the new tube, tape the end of the tube, so the edge doesn't catch on the door interior and insert it through the housing and use the string to "snake" the tube through the door/insulation assembly, and out th opening in the bottom of the door. You may be able to use a semi rigid cable or a string and vaccuum cleaner to snake another string through the door and try again.
The little plastic nozzle which dispenses water has disintegrated. I think I need to purchase and install part no. AP3108776. How do I remove the faceplate to access the ice/water dispenser compartment without destroying it? I've looked for screws-none; I've tried sliding a thin putty-knife under the bottom edge but can't find clips, etc. I don't think a replacement faceplate is available if I should break it. Help?

Answer Hello Barneybar. Remove the grill from the bottom and get a hold of the bottom of the front cover. While applying downward pressure, pull the cover out away from the freezer door. It seems as though you are going to break it but since it snaps onto plastic clips, it snaps off. When you reinstall it, you hook it on the top first, then bump it on with the back of your fist. I hope you found this helpful and I hope you have a great day!
