If the water flow to unit is good and the unit is filling properly and draining properly then the water valve would be good. If the wax motor is going bad then you would want to replace the wax motor and control board as the control board would cause failure of the wax motor. If you are not getting enough water to the unit, even though it is softned, you will want to check to make sure that the screens are not clogged. If not then you may need a new valve.

Answer Hello John, The water valve has an internal leak. As long as you have good water pressure and the screens are not stopped up with mineral deposits and/or sedimentation from the water supply, you will need to replace the water inlet valve 22002795.

Answer Hello John. Just remove the hoses off the back of the washer and you can see the screens inside the water valve 22002795.
