I have only cold water - no hot. On warm setting no water at all flows. I switched the inlet lines - on cold water setting hot water flows. On hot water setting and warm, no water flows.
Answer Hi William, most likely you need a new water valve but you're going to need to check your serial number so you know which one to order. There were two different valves used on your model due to a change by the manufacturer. If your serial number starts "10" through "18", order part# 22003384. If your serial number starts with "19" or higher, order part# 22004333. If you're unsure please call us and someone will be glad to help you figure it out. Thanks!
The water shuts off fine under full pressure but when pressure is down water continues to flow into the washer.
Answer Hello Billy,
You should check for sufficient water pressure as prescribed by the manufacturer. The recommended pressure is from 25 PSI to 125 PSI. If the valve is still acting up, the valve 22004333 should be replaced. Since the water valve is closed by water pressure only with no spring to aid in its' closure, the possibility of the valve being defective is high since the water valve seat is exposed to the mineral deposits and sedimentation of the water supply.
I have only hot water, very time I turn the knob for cold water nothing comes out.
Answer Filippo, you will need to replace the water inlet valve. May we have your appliance serial number? We will need this to determine the correct replacment valve used on your model. Thanks!
