My ice maker is not producing any ice. I have replaced the inlet valve. Water is getting to the top of refrig. Ice marker is cold and has frost in the basket/ice cube cut outs. I put water in there and it producing ice. There seems to be something between the water line and the ice maker. Thanks Sharon

The water supply valve on the ice maker will not cut off and lets water overflow into the freezer and ultimately into the refrigerator and the floor. I cut off the water supply line and manually filled the ice maker with water and it seems to work fine, so I believe the valve is bad. I have removed the valve and it has a label with Part No. 1105006 and AVC Model 55 stamped in the metal. What part do I need to replace the valve? Thanks.

Does this valve have a garden hose type fitting? The cross reference says it is compatible with an Amana IC2 ice maker. Thanks.

My icemaker is a FSP replacement in an old refrigerator in my rental house. The inlet valve opens to let air pass (me blowing through the valve) when I give the solenoid 120 volts, but when I have it hooked up to the house plumbing, water diesn't pass through the valve. A plumber the tenant hired replaced the original icemaker hookup with a plain 1/4" pipe hookup (no icemaker tap off valve with a tiny hole), and I don't know if that would make a difference. Do you know from my description if the valve should work OK with the plumbing like that or if valves can stick with just the normal water pressure when the valve is worn out? Thanks

I can press the "Water" button on the outside of the refrigerator door and get a glass of water but water does not seem to be flowing into the icemaker and therefore no ice is being made. Does this mean I need a new icemaker kit or just a new water valve?
