The water valve didn't shut off the water for the first time in six years. After shutting off the water and turning it on again, the water valve worked okay even after six or more washes. In your expert experiences, would you still recommend replacing it? Will this happen again?
Answer Hello Daryl,
I would change the water valve 12002242 before I would trust the water left on to the valve even overnight. I've seen a lot of water damage, and it's nothing to sneeze at. When a valve sticks like that, it could be cause by debris in the water supply, but most likely it's a bad valve.
