My maytag ice maker is not making ice. What can I check to see if It is is the thermostat or another problem?

Answer Hello Wesley. Check and make sure the fill tube is not frozen and the icemaker is cycling properly sending power to the water valve. If so, you will need to replace the water valve 61005626. Hope this helps.
