John Kriegesmann for Model Number FFRE2533Q2 / LRA257ST2 Frigidaire 25,000 Btu. Unit has power but will not cool. Fan runs but compressor will not run. Could this be the thermistor, or the PC board in the front panel. ?? and if so what is the correct part numbers to order.
Answer John, You would want to check to see if the control board is sending power to the compressor. If it is but the compressor will not start then this is a compressor issue. If there is no power coming off the control board to the compressor then the control board would be the issue and is part number 5304496252.
