William C for Model Number JGS750SEF6SS Our large burner (not XL) has very poor flame distribution. I've read in our owner's manual that the flames in the 6 - 9 o'clock position are supposed to be smaller (who thought that was a good idea???) But when the burner is turned up on high heat, the flames in the 3 o'clock position are about 3+ times as big as the opposite side. Obviously, this makes food cook very unevenly and tend to burn on one side. Is there anything else that could be making the flames extra high on one side besides GE's poor design of this burner? I have checked for obstructions in the gas orifice and the hob and there are none. Thanks for any guidance you can share!
Answer William, If this is the design based on what is in the owner's manual then there would be no way to change this. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 31, 2020
