Chris L for Model Number GE WPGT9350C0WW I purchased a new Mech Hsng Asm-Bearing assembly. After reinstalling everything the Pulsator Asm does not work. I was able to notice the Coupling Asm would lock up when I tighten the nut Part Number AP3671926. I have removed the Rotor Asm and inspected it a couple times. Everything looks OK. If I push the gears on the Coupling Asm down before I tighten up the nut it would move up and down but would only Pulsate in the wash cycle not the rinse cycle. What am I doing wrong?? How tight should the nut be put on? If I tighten with a impact gun am I over tightening?
Answer Chris, You would not want to use an impact gun on the unit and if you are then it is being overtightened. The issue that you are having could be caused by the motor assembly part number WH20X10024. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 11, 2015
