Dan for Model Number ME16K3000AS I have a Samsung microwave that quit heating, everything else works correctly. Checking the 3 door latch switches, the middle switch has continuity constantly with switch depressed or not. Are all these switches the same, open or closed most of the time ? Are they the same part number ?
Answer Dan, the middle switch 3405-001033 should show continuity only when the plunger is not depressed. For it to have continuity when depressed, the switch has failed and would need to be replaced. However, as the microwave fuse is not blowing, this would also indicate a failure within the main control.
