Richard M. for Model Number amana srd27 The compressor and fan runs constantly. The freezer side stays very cold and food on the refrigerator side freezes. I have both the refrigerator and freezer sides set to 0 (off) but the compressor and fan continue to run. Is this a sign that the thermostat is bad? If so, it looks easy to replace but I have a question about the capillary tube. Does it just pull out or is it connected to anything on the freezer side?
