Michael for Model Number MFI2568AES Icemaker stopped working. The "teeth" which the ice cubes are meant to slide off of; 1 often gets pushed down by the rotating ejectors. If I correct this issue, it woks again for a few cycles, then the same problem occurs. Label on Icemaker shows 130357-02 REV0 and R039060818452A. Do I need an entire Icemaker of is there abetter solution for me?
Answer Michael, Yes, your best bet is to replace the ice maker assembly. There is some "play" in the rotating ejectors, But not as much as you're describing. The excess movement in the ejector, would indicate a problem in the motor/linkage of the control head, and/or a problem in the mold and heater assembly, causing excess force needed to eject the cubes.
