Answer Hello Laura, likely the bake burner ignitor is weak/worn and not opening the gas valve fully, the ignitor is part 74007498. If you are checking the bake or broil burner operation with the oven door open the control board will time out (usually 30 sec to 2 min) and disable the oven heating as a safety, usually, this is not a problem with normal oven use.
