Take out the Phillips screw located just behind the drain cover.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove the screws from the top of the panel.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rotate the panel forward, lift it, and set it aside.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove the back access panel. Unscrew and lift away the rear panel to expose the shock absorbers.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: Checking for Shock Absorber Damage<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that you have access, inspect each shock absorber.<\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Look at the bushings: These rubber ends commonly wear down, leading to poor compression.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Test compression: Push each absorber by hand.
