If you can\u2019t reach it, use pliers to take it out. There are ridges on the cap that the pliers can grip. Once you have it out, set it to the side.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Find the 7\/16-inch bolt.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Use the socket and extension to reach the 7\/16-inch bolt. Since the threads are standard, go counterclockwise to loosen it. You\u2019ll probably have to hold the lower part of the agitator so it doesn\u2019t turn.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Pull out the old top agitator and turn it over, which will allow the cam with the agitator dogs to fall out.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Put the cam assembly into the new top agitator.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Replace the top agitator onto the lower part.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Tighten the 7\/16-inch bolt.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Replace the dust cap and the top for your new agitator.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<!-- \/wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading -->\r\n<h2>More information<\/h2>\r\n<!-- \/wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\nThanks for reading!
