Set it aside.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the belt from the motor.<\/li>\n<li>Use the belt to help pull the drum out, then set it aside.<\/li>\n<li>Find the thermal fuse on the left side of the heating element and remove the 1\/4-inch screws holding it in place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Install the new thermal fuse &amp; reassemble the dryer<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Secure the new thermal fuse to the heating element with the 1\/4-inch screws.<\/li>\n<li>Reconnect the wires.<\/li>\n<li>Reinstall the drum and belt.
