If the voltages are correct, continue to the next step.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Step 2: Relay control board test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pull the range out and remove the rear panel to expose the relay control board located on the right side just above the terminal block.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the multimeter to VAC. Test for 120 VAC from the gray wire to chassis ground.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then, set the oven to bake and test for 120 VAC at the yellow wire to chassis ground. If the bake element isn\u2019t working but voltage is present, the element may be faulty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the multimeter to VAC and test the black wire to chassis ground for 120 VAC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the oven to broil and test for 120 VAC at the brown wire to chassis ground. If voltage is present but the broil element doesn\u2019t work, the element could be faulty.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Step 3: Bake element test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the range to bake and leave it plugged in.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set your multimeter to VAC and test from one terminal of the bake element to the other.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you get 240 VAC but the element doesn\u2019t heat, the bake element is faulty and needs to be replaced.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Step 4: Broil element test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the range to broil and leave it plugged in.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set your multimeter to VAC and test from one terminal of the broil element to the other.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you get 240 VAC but the broil element doesn\u2019t heat, the broil element is faulty and needs to be replaced.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Step 5: Oven sensor test<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unplug the range to avoid electric shock.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Locate the oven sensor (usually on the right side of the back panel of the range).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the sensor harness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set your multimeter to Ohms and test the sensor.
