This will disengage the legs and release the assembly from the mounting bracket.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the assembly is free from the mounting bracket, carefully lift it out of the dryer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Step 2: reassembly<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take the new machine control electronics assembly and align it with the opening in the dryer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slide the assembly towards the rear of the dryer, ensuring that the plastic legs on the front and rear of the assembly slide under the mounting bracket.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press the assembly towards the rear until the locking tab on the bottom snaps into place, securing the assembly to the mounting bracket.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insert and tighten the screw that holds the machine control electronics assembly to the mounting bracket using a suitable screwdriver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reconnect the wire connections to the machine control electronics, ensuring they are properly aligned and securely attached.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slide the bracket back over the top of the drum towards the rear of the dryer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Align the bracket with the screw holes and insert the screws.
