This will give you access to the ice dispenser switch located in the center of the housing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the wiring harness that goes from the dispenser cover to the dispenser control board.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set your multimeter to test for continuity.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the brown and gray wires from the ice dispenser switch terminals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place one multimeter lead on one terminal of the switch and the other lead on the second terminal. You should not be getting any continuity at this point.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press the dispenser switch button. If there is continuity when the button is pressed, the switch is functioning properly.
