Test each pin on the compressor to the chassis ground. If you get continuity on any pin, the compressor is grounded and needs to be replaced.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you measure 120VAC to the start device but the compressor failed the tests, the compressor needs to be replaced by a licensed service technician, as it contains regulated refrigerant.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once testing is complete, reconnect the wiring to the start device and push the start device back onto the compressor.
