There is one screw on each side of the front panel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pull the front panel forward to disengage it from the mounting tabs at the bottom.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lift the front panel off the mounting tabs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turn the front panel around to provide access to the inside of it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Step 3: Remove the front drum bearings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to access the latch, remove the upper and lower bearings attached to the inside of the front panel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the upper piece, release the tabs located at the top and lift it off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the lower piece, remove the duct piece first, then unsnap the rest of the duct and lift it up to release the tabs through the slots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4: Install the new door latch<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the dryer door.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press down on the top and bottom of the latch to release the tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the tab is released, use needle-nose pliers to compress the small tabs and press the latch up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Align the new door latch and snap it into place.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Step 5: Reassemble the dryer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Close the dryer door.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reattach the lower bearing by aligning the tabs behind the panel and snapping it into place.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lower the bearing until it aligns with the rest of the dryer and snaps into place.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinsert the tab on the upper portion by lining up the tabs and sliding them into the lower section.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lift up on the light bulb if necessary, slide it into place, and snap the entire piece in until it clicks.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place the front panel back onto the mounting tabs at the bottom.
