If the thermistor resistance is outside of this range, the thermistor will need to be replaced.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><b>LIVE VOLTAGE WARNING: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For this test, the appliance needs to be plugged in and powered on. Please be very careful to protect yourself from electric shock, which has the potential to cause serious injuries. Don\u2019t ever test live voltage if you\u2019re uncomfortable using a multimeter.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the dishwasher powered on, use a multimeter to check for 120V AC voltage at the heater connection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is the correct voltage but the heater is not heating, the heater will need to be replaced.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is no voltage to the heater, the issue is with the control board.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional information<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thank you for reading!
