Slide the hose off and set it aside.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the nut driver to loosen the clamp that holds the drain pump to the sump.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use a quarter-inch nut driver to remove the two screws that secure the drain pump to the frame.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lift the drain pump out of the sump and turn it around. Pull the wires out from between the motor and the mounting point.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Installation<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Position the new drain pump into the sump and insert the wires between the opening.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Align the mounting screw holes and use the nut driver to secure the pump to the frame with the screws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tighten down the clamp that holds the drain pump to the sump using the 5\/16 inch nut driver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Slide the drain hose onto the pump and tighten the clamp to secure it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attach the wires to the new drain pump in the same location as the removed wiring on the old pump.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lift the dishwasher back to an upright position and remove the towel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carefully push the dishwasher back into the cabinet partially with the hoses routed back under the sink.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reconnect the drain hose to the air gap or disposal and tighten the clamp using a 5\/16 inch nut driver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connect the fill line to the hot water valve and hand-tighten it.
