Locate the screws securing the control panel assembly inside the door. Remove these screws using a Phillips screwdriver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are also small locking tabs that hold the cover in place. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry and release these tabs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once released, carefully lift the cover-up and off the control panel assembly. Make sure to also remove the rubber grommet from the cover.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the cover with the grommet aside. You should now see the inner circuit boards and wiring.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnecting wires and cables<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before fully removing the control panel assembly, you need to disconnect several cable connections:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Locate the two individual black and red wires. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry and detach them from the control board.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Find the wiring harness connectors plugged into sockets on the control board. Gently pull them straight up to disconnect them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place the control panel assembly on a towel on the counter. Make sure it clicks securely.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Position the main control board over its screw holes and reinsert all screws using a Phillips screwdriver.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reconnect all wiring harnesses by firmly pressing them into their sockets.
