If the temperature in your home is cooler, resistance would be subtracted.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3. Remove the faulty element<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Push some insulation aside near the terminal to access the screws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove the screws securing the element on both sides.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the wires from the terminals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pull the old bake element straight out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 4. Install the new bake element<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insert the new element into place.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secure it with the Phillips head screws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reconnect the wires to the terminals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 5.
