Press start and use a multimeter set to VAC to check for 120 volts between the blue and white wires.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press start to cycle the cold valve off.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select function 002 to test the hot water valve. Press start and test for 120 volts between the red and white wires.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press start to shut the hot valve off.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select function 005 to test the fabric softener valve. Press start and test for 120 volts between the violet and white wires.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Press start to shut the valve off.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is power but no water flow at a tested connection point, determine that the water valve is faulty.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 5.
