Place it aside with the ice bucket.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: Take out the shelf and evaporator cover panel<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To remove the shelf, lift up the right side and push it inward to release the left side from the wall. Then lift the left side all the way up to slide out the right side, and remove the shelf.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use the 1\/4 in nut driver again to remove the two screws securing the evaporator cover panel. There is also a ground wire clip that must be detached from the panel using pliers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With all fasteners released, tilt the panel forward and slide it out. Be careful to feed any wiring through the openings as you remove it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3: Detach the old air duct<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flip the panel over and locate the plastic retention clips for the air duct &#8211; two at the top and three across the bottom.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insert the needle nose pliers behind each clip and gently pry upward to release the air duct. Take care not to damage any surrounding plastic components.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you&#8217;ve disconnected all five clips, just slide them out through the top and bottom openings to take the air duct off the panel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 4: Install the replacement air duct<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Orient the replacement WP2254354 air duct upright with the intake cutouts positioned correctly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Align the duct retention clips with their corresponding slots and evenly push downward. This will snap the new part securely into position.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inspect the reinstalled air duct and realign any bent or misshapen metal retention tabs using the needle nose pliers to avoid air leaks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 5: Reassemble the refrigerator<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carefully replace the evaporator cover panel, reattaching all screws and grounding wires.
