Please be very careful to protect yourself from electric shock, which has the potential to cause serious injuries. Don\u2019t ever test live voltage if you\u2019re uncomfortable using a multimeter.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place the black probe on J18 Pin 3 and the red probe on J18 Pin 1 to verify 5 VDC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If 5 VDC is not present, replace the main control board.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Test the continuity of the User Interface Harness by checking J18 Pin 1 to J17 Pin 3, J18 Pin 2 to J17 Pin 2, and J18 Pin 3 to J17 Pin 1.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If continuity is not present, replace the User Interface Harness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If continuity is present, proceed to replace the User Interface.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Disconnect the wiring at the J18 connector on the main control board.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Install the new User Interface by plugging the connector into the J18 connector.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the User Interface back in place and lock it by pressing down on the spring clips.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinstall the rear panel by securing it with the screws.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plug the washer back in or turn on the circuit breaker to complete the process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You made it!<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks for reading!
