Refer to the instructions to match the letters with the appropriate orifices for propane gas.<\/li>\n<li>Insert the new orifice into the 7-millimeter socket, then thread it in and tighten it.<\/li>\n<li>Reinstall the burner.<\/li>\n<li>Reinstall the burner cap.<\/li>\n<li>Reinstall the grate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Repeat the process for the other 3 burners.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 &#8211; Adjust the bake burner<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The bake burner has an adjustable orifice spud. Use a 1\/2-inch wrench to turn the spud clockwise until it bottoms out. Then turn it back about 1-1\/2 turns. Tighten it until it\u2019s snug, but don\u2019t overtighten since that can cause damage.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the gas supply back on to check the flame color. You should see blue flames. If the flames have yellow tips, the spud will need to be adjusted until you have a blue flame.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5 &#8211; Adjust the broil burner<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the oven door.<\/li>\n<li>Take out the racks.<\/li>\n<li>Use a 1\/2-inch wrench to tighten down the spud in the upper back towards the middle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6 &#8211; Reinstall the lower drawer assembly<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Line up the track with the slider and slide on the drawer assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Press in the retaining tabs to lock the assembly in place before sliding the drawer in.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finishing up<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double-check that all the burner caps and components are replaced correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Review the instructions one more time to double-check your work.<\/li>\n<li>Plug in the range and make sure the gas supply is on.<\/li>\n<li>Use a gas leak detector fluid to coat valves, joints, and hoses, or use soapy water to check for leaks.
