Removing this provides access to the water lines and lower hinge.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn off the fridge and disconnect it from the power source.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the fridge water supply is disconnected. Find the shut-off valve for the fridge\u2019s water line so you can turn off the water.<\/li>\n<li>Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the toe grill.<\/li>\n<li>Set the toe grill aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: Disconnect the water lines<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Find the two water lines running from the bottom hinge into the refrigerator cabinet. You\u2019ll need to disconnect them to detach the freezer door.<\/li>\n<li>Use a 3\/8&#8243; open-ended wrench to loosen the compression fittings on both water lines.
