Set it aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2- Remove the detergent dispenser<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer.<\/li>\n<li>Release the locking tab on the rear of the drawer.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the dispenser housing and set it aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3 &#8211; Detach the control panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a Torx 20 screwdriver to remove the two screws at the base of the control panel.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully lift the top while pressing the release tabs on each side of the panel.<\/li>\n<li>Unplug the wiring connectors.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the control panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 4 &#8211; Take off the door seal and front panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the washer door.<\/li>\n<li>Use a 5\/16-inch nut driver to remove the three screws along the top of the front panel.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the door lock assembly<\/li>\n<li>Carefully remove the spring from around the gasket.<\/li>\n<li>Pull the rubber door seal away from the front panel.<\/li>\n<li>Tilt the washer back onto a 2&#215;4 board.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the four screws at the base of the front panel with a quarter-inch nut driver.<\/li>\n<li>Lift off the front panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 5 &#8211; Drain out the remaining water<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lay a towel underneath the open base of the washer to catch water.<\/li>\n<li>Turn the drain filter counterclockwise.<\/li>\n<li>Use a shop vac to remove all water inside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 6 &#8211; Detach the hoses and wiring from the pump<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pull the rubber drain hose off the outlet port on the pump assembly.
