Replace the terminals if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 &#8211; Replace the control board<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019ve checked the door seal, switch and wiring and they all appear to be functioning, the most likely cause of the 008 error code is a failed control board.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to replace it:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unplug the dryer from the power supply.<\/li>\n<li>Find the control board, which is usually mounted in the control panel area behind the front or top panel.
