How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3772889 / WD28X10128 Silverware Basket

With our dishwasher no longer being made we were needing to replace the silverware basket because of the bottom on it breaking apart. We found AppliancePartsPros.com and they had what we needed. Worked well. No complaints simple fix of replacing the the dishwasher silverware basket. 

Ordered the new silverware basket. 

Simple lifted old one out installed new one. 

Removed original parts and installed the new ones in less than 5 mins. 

Repair simply required replacement of basket and grinder. The grinder replacement was the most challenging. 

Replaced the silverware basket and drain tube kit. 

I ordered a replacement.....( for a 15 year old dish washer) two years ago I ordered an associated part and it took 9 months from GE this took less than a week from APP. 

I opened the box with the new silverware basket. Pulled the old one out of the dishwasher just like I do every time I do dishes and replaced it with the new one.
