How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4449759 / DA97-06473B Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Door Assembly

Looked on AppliancePartsPros.com and found the part needed. There was a video on how to replace and level of difficulty. When replacing the hardest part was getting the front panel off the door due to strong clips. Once the panel was off it was easy. My wife is once again happy with the frig. 

Using the video online the repair was easy, Since the refrigerator was unplugged and away from the wall I took the time to clean the condensing coil and the ice maker. Everything is running great. 

It was great to have the video and it came apart as shown. Of course, the wiring harness locks can be tricky. Like any internet search, you have to put in the right info. Once I found this it was a snap. part came in about 4 days on shipping one level above the cheapest. The flashlight came in handy for the screws at the back. Everything is working perfectly. I have fixed a lot of things, but the video made this one easy since newer refrigerators have a lot of plastic and are easy to break. 

My Kenmore elite frig ice maker dispenser door broke. I was told that it would cost over $300 plus parts for a repair man to come fix it. I found the parts here and the instructions on how to change it. The price was reasonable (less than $100) and the part was shipped promptly. This is a great place to find the appliance parts you might need. 

Ordered new chute assembly that was very easy to install.
