-Make sure the washer is unplugged
-Remove front of washer (there are 2 pins where the front meets the top, just slip a putty knife in and push the pins back)
-Remove the top of the washer (just 2 screws holding it to the frame). Make sure to remove the magnetic close switch is removed.
-The bottom was broken off the frame of the washer, so I lifted the suspension a little so the retaining washer would not have stress on it. I then moved the retaining washer, and removed the suspension rod.
-Put the new rod in the top first and secured retaining washer.
-Lifted the frame of the drum onto the new suspension.
-Put it back together.
