A repairman told me the motor was out and gave me a quote of 400 to fix it so I opted to buy the parts and fix it myself. The disassembly instructions were slightly different but I found another YouTube video explaining how to fully disassemble my model. The only slightly misleading difficulty is breaking off the blower to get to the motor. In the video the technician chisels it off in a couple hits. This is simply not going to be the case. Not sure if my part was made of a different plastic, but whenever I chiseled it, the chisel just sank into the plastic, instead of causing a split and breaking the whole piece. I had to slowly chisel a full hole around the middle and and rip it off tiny pieces at a time. But otherwise the repair went smoothly and the dryer is running great now. The resources this company offers alone is a reason to buy from them. These stories are gold.
