This is a GE control board assembly for washing machines. The washer's main control board assembly is the housing for the main controls and the control board. The washer's control board regulates the cycles on a washer. If the washer's main spin and draining functions have quit working, the problem may be remedied by installing a new control board assembly. The issues could happen gradually or all at once, depending on whether the control board has completely shorted out. There could be noticeable smoke or a burning smell coming from the control board assembly if this part shorts out. This control board assembly is a genuine OEM product sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is only available individually and is not included with any other components. This part is compatible with GE and Hotpoint appliances.

W. Taylor, With the unit stopping when it gets to the spin cycle you will want to check the pressure hose to make sure that the hose is not clogged and make sure that the air trap is not clogged. If so then clear the clog. If this checks ok then you will want to make sure that the pressure switch is resetting. If the pressure switch is not resetting after the drain it will cause the unit to not spin.

Tom W for Model Number ge washer

The top panel that houses the timer and water level has a plastic clip that holds the timer in place.Well that plastic clip that holds it firmly against the panel broke and now the knob to select what type of wash you want to perform(gentle, reg e.g.) will not keep the dial secure because the motor that controls that falls back thus falling off.I can still select the desired washing if I take the panel off and hold the timer against the panel. Should I order a new panel and where would I look for it?
