Kathy D March 26, 2017 for Model Number WCSE4160B3WW When pressing the start button sometimes it starts to fill and stops. Other times when cycle starts it randomly stops in any part of the wash. not constant. Tried using different types of wash and works for a while and again randomly stops where it feels like in the cycle. Again all above actions are randomly happening.
1 Answer Kathy, WIth this being an intermittent issue then it would most likely be caused by a faulty control board which is part number WH12X10222. Read More...

Bob M October 16, 2015 for Model Number GE washer Mod # WPSE5290AOWW It will start to spin but it makes a loud banging noise as the relay switches the power to the transmission on and off repeatedly and then after about a minute of that it shuts down. If I play with the switch on and off repeatedly I can occasionally get the relay to not stutter and the machine will spin perfectly. Can it be a bad relay or should I look elsewhere???
1 Answer Bob, This issue does sound like the relay is faulty on the control board and would need to have the control board replaced. The part number for the control board is WH12X10169. Read More...
Bcodd March 21, 2015 for Model Number WPSE4200A0WW Our GE washer fills and washes as normal until it is about to hit the first spin cycle at which point it starts draining but sounds like a relay is clicking rapidly and does not spin. Is this a control board issue, or could there be some other issue?

W. Taylor February 05, 2015 for Model Number WPSE4200A0WW Washer will wash but stop when it gets to the spin cycle. You can rotate the dial back to spin where you left off and it will finish the spin as expected.
1 Answer W. Taylor, With the unit stopping when it gets to the spin cycle you will want to check the pressure hose to make sure that the hose is not clogged and make sure that the air trap is not clogged. If so then clear the clog. If this checks ok then you will want to make sure that the pressure switch is resetting. If the pressure switch is not resetting after the drain it will cause the unit to not spin. Read More...

Tom W April 08, 2013 for Model Number ge washer The top panel that houses the timer and water level has a plastic clip that holds the timer in place.Well that plastic clip that holds it firmly against the panel broke and now the knob to select what type of wash you want to perform(gentle, reg e.g.) will not keep the dial secure because the motor that controls that falls back thus falling off.I can still select the desired washing if I take the panel off and hold the timer against the panel. Should I order a new panel and where would I look for it?
