  • Helps resolve large yellow flames, soot, and poor simmering caused by an incorrect/blocked spud
  • Supports safe operation when converting from natural gas to LP per the manufacturer's instructions
  • Can improve ignition and flame stability when the original jet is damaged or clogged
What's included: 1 LP orifice spud Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply; allow the appliance to cool before servicing
  • Remove the existing spud with the correct wrench and install the replacement snugly—do not overtighten
  • Perform any required air-shutter/burner adjustments per the service instructions
  • After installation, leak-check with a soapy water solution; LP conversions should comply with local codes

Cheyenne, There would be no LP conversion kit for this and you would need to get individual orifice WB28K10215 for left rear, WB28K10839 right front, WB28K10031 right rear and WB28K10023 for the left front. For the oven tighten orifices to snug and open air shutters all the way on the burner, then flip cap on regulator from NAT to LP.

Hello Kathleen, You will need to order WB28K10817 RR, WB28K10815 LR, WB28K10813 LF, WB28K10812 RF, and WB28K10289 Central Burner. As a note, These parts have to be ordered to obtain the orifices. Unless there are problems with the tubes, the orifices can be removed from the tubes and installed in place of the LP orifices. The orifice hoods just below the bake and broil burners can be adjusted with a 1/2 inch open end wrench by turning them 1 1/2 to 2 turns counterclockwise. You will then need to go to the regulator and convert it by removing the plastic cap and flipping the large nut, (be sure to re-install the plastic cap). If there is any yellow tipping in the flames, these can be adjusted out by adjusting the air shutters on the base of the burners.

David, It appears that you have all the correct part numbers for the LP orifices. They do not list this as a kit.

Hello GE Oven User, You will need to order WB28K10596 for the center burner, WB28K10424 for the right front, WB28K10590 for the front left, WB28K10592 for the left rear, and WB28K10390 for the right rear. Convert the regulator as follows: Remove the storage drawer, kickpanel and if applicable the access panel to access the regulator. (Some models will have a metal shield protecting the regulator that must be removed for conversion and reinstalled when conversion is complete.) The pressure regulator is located in the lower, left hand rear corner of the range as viewed from the front. b. Unscrew the plastic-protected hex-nut cap. c. Completely remove the protective plastic cap off the threaded metal cap. d. Turn the metal cap so the type of gas being converted to is displayed and replace the protective plastic cover. e. Screw the hex-nut cap back into the regulator. (Do not over tighten). To convert the bake and broil burners to natural, use a 1/2" wrench to turn the lower burner orifice hood counter-clockwise (When viewed from above) until it is snug with the base, approximately 2 1/2 turns. (To prevent damage when converting back to Natural Gas, do not over tighten the hood.)
