Projectman January 13, 2015 for Model Number WDSR2080D5WW The washer continuously fills and never advances without manual turning of the timer. The issue intermittent. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it just fills forever. I have replaced: Rotary switch ( WH12X10498) , Timer ( WH12X10202) , Water Level Switch ( WH12X10065) I also have checked the tube from the water level switch to the drum for clogs. It is clear. What else could this be? Should I replace the water inlet valve?
1 Answer Projectman, The most likely cause if the unit is filling but the tub is not would be a siphoning issue. You will want to check the standpipe to make sure that it is at least 32" tall and make sure that the drain hose is not shoved down into the standpipe too far which would cause this issue. Freddie October 25, 2014 for Model Number WJRR4170E1CC Washer does not go thru cycles on its own .. I have to turn the knob to each cycle for a few minutes .its the only way it works. Pease help, thank you....
Carlos S September 02, 2014 for Model Number HSWP1000M2WW Hi there, my machine is doing all the cycle but doesnt squeeze the clothes. Some times it does not move at all but the engine is in good shape. Im asking. Could this be the clucth in the center of the machine?..
1 Answer Carlos, You will want to check the inverter board on the motor to see if there are any error codes flashing from the led. If you get your tech sheet it will show a chart that has the error code listing on it. The issue could be with the mode shifter, the motor or something caught between the tubs. Read More...
Nick July 19, 2014 for Model Number WBSR3140D0WW The washing machine control knob for different cycles keeps going through all the cycles and wont stop. When it does go through all the cycles, it doesn't fill the washer at all. When I push the knob in, to stop the switch, there is a constant ticking sound with nothing happening in the wash. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Nick, This is most likely a bad timer assembly WH12X10254 but can also be associated with the pressure switch WH12X10065. Read More...

Carl June 10, 2014 for Model Number GE GTWN3000M1WS I am looking for the "Settings" switch that controls the fabric softner on a GE top-load washer model # GTWN3000M1WS. Is the correct part switch # WH12X10498 / AP5272299?
Carl June 10, 2014 for Model Number GE GTWN300M1WS Hello, I have a GE GTWN3000M1WS top-load washer. The "Settings" switch that controls the amount of fabric softner needs to be replaced. The knob was pulled off for cleaning and when we put it back on, the switch shaft pushed into the machine - like it went thru the back of the switch itself. Is the correct switch GE Part# WH12X10498?
Jerry May 06, 2014 I am getting ready to order a timer want to know if on right track and if the rotary switch would have any thing to do with problem. The machine will wash if I turn it manual through each cycle. If not it will sit in that cycle be wash or spin or rinse.
