Tom May 18, 2020 for Model Number KEBC208KSS04 I also broke my door glass trying to tighten door handle. WPW10200754 Front door glass that was ordered and attaches directly to stainless steel door fascia. Question #1: my existing door has thin black lines going through the part of the window that is visible and this one does not. It is clear. The glass does not match the other door of the double oven. Any ideas or options? I don't like that they look different. it is very visible. Question #2: what adhesive tape do I use to attach glass to back of stainless door fascia? Looks like i need two sided tape but i don't know what kind. Do you have it so i can order?

Kellie February 05, 2016 I have an older 24 inch wide Magic Chef wall oven. It still works perfectly. The door is white and I would like to replace it with either a black or a stainless door. I cannot locate the model number inside the door. I do not have a manual. What are my options at this point? No one will talk to me without a model number. This is such an odd size I thought this would be a simple fix but no one seems to either want or know how to help me.

John June 06, 2014 for Model Number KEBC107KSS04 Kitchenaid I just received the outer glass for my oven door. It comes with the silver tape that is to the inside of the oven but the side that goes against the stainless skin has 2 sided tape. One very thin and the other thicker and black. Are any of these a special heat resistant tapes or will any 2 sided tape work? Also the inner tape is thicker probably due to the cure of the inner opening.
1 Answer John, In short you are correct. The aluminum tape strips on the back of the glass panel help to reduce the heat transfer from the air passing between the glass and inner door liner. The thicker two sided foam tape, is a seal against the inner shield to reduce the heat that can be transferred to the oven door handle. Read More...
