Marie Anne F March 24, 2017 for Model Number 10674252400 How to remove the filter housing 2225521. I have removed the two screws holding the housing, but I cannot pull the housing out. There is a lip from the metal front at the bottom of the refrigerator that prevents me. From pulling the housing out. Thank you for your help. I bought the housing from your website.
1 Answer Marie Ann, With the housing there are 2 screws at the bottom and you will need to remove the wire that is hooked to the side. You will also want to disconnect the hoses from the water valve to make this easier. but you should be able to pull the housing straight out. Read More...

Mike January 26, 2015 for Model Number Sears Model 106.74252400 I ordered the filter housing for my sears refrigerator. How does the supply tubes fit in the housing? Do you simply press them into the gray snap washer or do you pull out the washer, insert the tube, then snap in the washer? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Mike, You insert the water tube into the fitting and push firmly. This should cause the line to pop in an additional 1/4 inch or so. Pulling on the water line like you are trying to pull the line back out will seat the seal. To remove a water line, push in on the line like you are seating it, hold the rings around the water line in toward the filter head, and slip the water line out while holding the ring to the filter head. Ernie N April 20, 2013 for Model Number 106.74252400 There is a water leak at the water filter. I replaced the filter, but it still leaked. Closer look revealed that the leak is coming from the water filter housing, where the water supply and return tubes go in. In most cases, does the tubes or the water filter housing need to be replaced? P.S. I did cut the smaller hose back about a half inch to see if a new surface would seal it, but it didn't.
1 Answer Ernie, The water filter housing WP2225521 would need to be replaced with it leaking out of the housing at the tubing. Read More...
Bob August 20, 2012 for Model Number et1fhtxmq03 Re. water filter housing #2225521. All I need is the gray hose fitting that connects the incoming water line to the filter housing. Can I get the little gray snap fitting without having to buy the entire housing?
