Jeff March 19, 2014 for Model Number maytag performa The washer will only use hot water, no cold at all even when set to warm only the hot will work. It makes no humming sound when set to cold like it does on hot and warm. I have checked the screen on the cold side and it seem to be clear. Which part do I need to replace?
1 Answer Hello Jeff. If there is power to the cold valve and no water, replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Dan November 12, 2013 for Model Number PAV3300AWW When the washer was filling up with water for the rinse cycle the water did not shut off. This has now happened two or three times. What can cause this?
1 Answer Hello Dan. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
Jim September 16, 2013 for Model Number MHWE500VW00 This is weird...had lots of water in basement. Cleaned filter. When running the diagnostics water started coming out of the hot water inlet! So I took that hose from the spicket into the sink next to washer and ran a cycle. Every time cold came in to the washer water was also coming out of this hose. Water inlet valve or?? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jim. That is normal. If the water valve has the hot hose unhooked, cold water will come out of the hot water valve side. You must have both sides of the valve hooked up to prevent this from happening. Read More...

Jay June 04, 2013 for Model Number Crosley Washer #CW22B5 There is not a full flow of water into the washer, the water just dribbles in. What is the cause of this.
1 Answer Jay, You will want to turn the water supply off and pull the hoses off the water valve. Check to make sure that the screens on the water valve are not clogged. If not clogged then the water valve would be the problem. Read More...
Marty April 10, 2013 for Model Number PAV2200AWW My washer keeps filling up with water and does not advance to the next cycle. I have replaced the timer, the timer knob and the water level switch. It just gets stuck on rinse without actually rinsing and I hear a clicking sound. The money I spent so far I am halfway to paying for a new washer.
1 Answer Hello Marty. You will need to check the pressure hose on the unit and make sure the pressure chamber is not clogged. Either will cause the issue you are having with the unit. Read More...
