This reversing valve coil is the electromagnetic solenoid used to actuate the refrigerant reversing valve, enabling proper heating/cooling mode switching. Replaces a worn or burnt coil to restore valve operation and system mode control. What it does:

• Energizes the reversing valve plunger to shift refrigerant flow between modes
• Common symptom: heat pump or refrigerator stuck in one mode or not switching modes
• Works as the electrical actuator for the reversing valve; requires correct coil for your valve body

• Disconnect power to the appliance and follow safe lockout procedures before service
• Only install on compatible reversing valve assemblies
• Avoid forcing the plunger; inspect valve and wiring for damage and replace any degraded components
