I replaced the back cover because it was broken because the ice split the Styrofoam ducting, spent about five hour thawing out the drain. I used boiling water and used compressed air to blow out the liquid. GE really dropped the ball on this model!! I added a copper wire from the defrost heater down the drain. To keep the drain open. Found both tanks frozen. Replaced the tank (might be cracked) and tank heater, left the old water lines in place. Water flows and also no more leaking after replacing the parts. Read more
