This is a dryer control board. This component is one of the most important in the dryer since it controls many of the important features of the appliance. For instance, it determines the time and temperature for a cycle of clothes going through the drying process. This part can be damaged over time or through regular use and may need to be replaced.If the control board is malfunctioning, it might cause the dryer to stop heating, alter cycle length, or prevent the appliance from starting at all. Start the process by making sure the dryer is unplugged. A set of tools and work gloves will be useful for the process. Unscrew and remove the top panel before disconnecting the control panel housing. The wires are connected to the control board before disconnecting them. Reattach them to the new component and reassemble the appliance.This is a dryer control board for Whirlpool appliances. It is sold as an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is sold on an individual basis.
