Jet Pump Parts

• Noisy
• Will not drain

Very simple repair really. Unplugged the washer, moved the washer in order to have access to the back panel. Remove 13 #20 torx screws holding the back panel on ; then removed back panel. Open the filter access on the front bottom of the washer to drain any remaining water, be sure to have a towel ready, as if the pump is bad, there's bound to be quite a bit. Looking at the washer from the back, the bottom left contained the pump. Remkve the two electric connectors and move out of the way.... Read more

I watched the appliancepartspros.com video to make sure I had identified the right part before I ordered it. After receiving the part, it was easy — the part itself twisted off without tools (pliers were helpful to remove and reattach the drain hose), and I was able to complete the repair without pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter. Replaced potentiometers, simmer control unit, and 2 solenoids. Could have been a fairly easy project, except 1 of the venturi's had "seized" preventing even the removal of the range top. After attempting to use an "easy out", which failed, I had to drill out the brass venturi, destroying it, and the jet assembly below. Once the range top was removed, the rest of the repair went well. My husband and myself didn't agree on which part was the exact problem. He felt it was the valve. I felt it was the ignitor/ orifice. And we both agreed the Harness-Ignitor needed to be replaced. So we ordered all 3, and I'm not sure if in fact all three were needed or not, but now with those parts replaced, the range is working like brand new!!
