Had a terrible time (locking tab or switch body hardened with time?) and mangled the switch terribly and the upper panel of the freezer somewhat, but the switch did come out. AND THEN the top freezer panel with the switch and light assembly fell out into my hands! I was able to unplug one Molex connector and the... Read more

The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The excessive build up of ice caused the cube tray to crack and also split the little silicone water grommet that connects to the water delivery tube which directs water into the cube tray. Look out for that little tube... Read more

Mounting screw for refrigerator ice maker assembly. Secures components to maintain structural integrity. Replace if lost, stripped, or corroded.
Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. The most irritating part was figuring out what parts to order. The drawing of the refrigerator door (Drawing # 4) used to figure out what parts to order was not clear. I paid $8... Read more

To Whom It May Concern: The milk tray broke and fell out of the door of my Samsung RS267LASH model refrigerator at 2:00 p.m. on December 23. Next, after navigating my browser to my usual parts source URL – a certain large, global auction site – I learned that the original part had been discontinued, but that I could have a “retired” replacement tray for... Then I had to remove the plastic light cover from the center of the fridge. Then I removed all visible screws to uncover the evaporator/radiator. I then unplugged the light bulb and motor wires. Luckily all wiring is keyed so that it can be plugged in again without error. I removed the motor by opening the motor housing. The housing has 1 screw and... Read more
