- Move one probe to the red terminal on the terminal block, keeping the other probe on the white wire.
- You should see a reading of approximately 120 VAC.
- Move one probe to the red terminal and the other probe to the black terminal.
- You should see a reading of approximately 240 VAC.
- Inspect the power cord and wiring at the terminal block for any signs of damage, such as burn marks or broken wires. Replace any damaged components.
- If you are not getting the expected voltage readings, the issue likely lies with the house wiring, not the range.
- Reposition the terminal block cover and secure it with the Phillips head screws.
