Troubleshooting steps

Inspect the door latch hook

1. Check the door latch hook located on the door for any damage or deformation.
2. The dE error can occur if the door latch hook is damaged, typically due to the door being opened forcefully while locked.
3. If the door latch hook is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

Check the door switch

2. Using a multimeter, measure the resistance between the terminals of the door switch (white-green wires).
3. The resistance should be approximately 0.2Ω when the door is closed.
4. Measure the resistance between the black and brown wire connects.
5. The resistance should be between 33Ω and 46Ω.
6. If the resistance is significantly different for either test, the door switch will need to be replaced.

Inspect the wiring:

1. Check the wiring harness connecting the door switch to the main PCB for any signs of damage, such as cuts, breaks, or loose connections.
2. Ensure all connections are secure and free of corrosion.
3. If any wiring issues are found, repair or replace the affected wiring.
4. Replace the main PCB if the error persists after addressing the other potential causes.
