This OEM replacement part is a dishwasher control board. The control board is the main circuit board that controls the dishwasher's essential functions. This includes turning the appliance on and off as well as controlling the desired settings. Over time, the control board can become inoperable after excessive use. If the dishwasher is no longer turning on or the buttons are not responsive, then the control board might need to be replaced.To replace the control board, start by unplugging the dishwasher. After the power has been shut off, proceed to open the dishwasher door and remove the inner panel that houses the control board. Unthread the screws that secure the panel in place and pull the panel off of the dishwasher door. Locate the old control board and remove the mounting screws that attach it to the dishwasher. Once removed, unplug the wire harness and any individual wires that are attached to the board. Reinsert the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap the new board back in place. Thread the mounting screws and reinstall the interior panel.This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is compatible with Fisher & Paykel brand dishwashers.
